WHAT WAS YOUR BEST / WORST TIME WITH WHISKEY?
My senior year of college, all the senior acting majors decided to get a little *ahem* relaxed for our final theatre school meeting of the year. Before I ever even went to the pre-gaming party, I PRE-pre-gamed at home (at noon. On a Tuesday.) with maaaaaaybe a few too many shots of CHEAP whiskey. I then went to the school meeting, jolly as can be. Little did I know (because I had never had whiskey before) that whiskey is more deadly than arsenic, and I spent the entire rest of the day and night, including my FOUR HOUR SCHOOL REHEARSAL, throwing up over a dozen times. It. was. awful. I haven't touched the stuff since, and I don't think I ever possibly could again.
WHAT WAS THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS DREAM YOU HAD FOR YOUR LIFE?
I guess my dream to be on Broadway, though perhaps a #commondream among actors, is still pretty outrageous. I'm still dreaming that dream and wishing upon stars and all that jazz for that dream to come true. First stop: Williamsburg. Next stop: THE BIG WHITE WAY.
WHEN LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO LIVE AFTER THE APOCALYPSE, WHAT MAKES WILLIAMSBURG SO APPEALING?
Ahhhh, WIlliamsburg. Where you can only live if you're a professional hipster, or the have the benefit of the most magical words: rent control. It's trendy, it's bendy, it's Fendi.
BIO
Mollie Craven is beyond excited to make her NYC theatrical debut in Whiskey Pants! Originally from Austin, TX, she just graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Acting. Some of her favorite regional credits include Fiona in Shrek, Harper in Angels in America, Gloria in Damn Yankees, Brenda in Hairspray, and Queen Isobel in Richard II. Thanks to my family, DB, RZ, and the incredible cast and creative team. Soli Deo Gloria!
Needless to say I got an A for the project, but my teacher hastened to explain to me that in real life, I had to just pick one. Joke’s on you, my dear teacher, I’m an actress! I can be all three!
